This Privacy Policy explains how Doctor Hot Chicken & Grill ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile app and website to browse our menu and place orders for pickup or delivery.

By using our app or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1.Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to take and fulfill your orders and to operate your account:

Account & contact information — your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account, sign in, or place an order as a guest.
Delivery address — the street address you enter so we can deliver your order. We use the address you type; we do not track your device's location.
Order information — the items you order, your order history, and any notes or preferences you provide.
Device & identifiers — a user account ID and, if you enable notifications, a device push token so we can send order updates.
Usage data — basic information about how the app is used (such as which screens and menu items you interact with) to help us improve the experience.

We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Your full card number is entered directly with the processor and is never stored on our systems.

2.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Process, prepare, and fulfill your pickup and delivery orders;
Create and manage your account and let you reorder your favorites;
Send you order confirmations, status updates, and (if you opt in) push notifications about your orders, rewards, and deals;
Operate our rewards program and apply points and offers to your account;
Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
Maintain the security of our services and improve how the app works.

3.How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites. We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed to deliver our services:

Payment processing — Stripe, Inc., to charge your order securely.
Order & app hosting — our ordering platform and hosting provider that store your account and order data.
Delivery — where you choose delivery, the details needed to bring your order to your address.
Notifications — Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications you've enabled.
Analytics — Google Analytics for Firebase, to understand aggregate app usage and improve the app.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our customers and business.

4.Sign-In Services

You can sign in with your email, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google. When you use Apple or Google to sign in, we receive basic profile details (such as your name and email) needed to create or access your account. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

5.Data Retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information as described below.

6.Your Choices & Rights

Access & update — you can view and update your account details at any time in the app under Account Settings.
Push notifications — you can turn notifications on or off in your device settings at any time.
Marketing — you can opt out of promotional messages using the unsubscribe or opt-out option in those messages.

7.Deleting Your Account & Data

You can delete your account and associated personal data directly in the app: go to Account Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and personal information from our active systems (some records may be retained only where required by law, such as transaction records for tax purposes). You may also email us using the contact details below to request deletion.

8.Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9.Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections for data in transit and secure, tokenized payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
